A rescued kitten in Las Vegas doesn’t just have a new home – they also have a new title. Last week, the tiny feline found themselves in a potentially deadly situation when they ended up on a busy highway. They were huddled close to a concrete barrier when found, but they couldn’t stay there forever. That’s when Trooper Estrada swooped in for the rescue!
Estrada was the first one to show up after the Nevada State Police received calls about the stranded kitten on an on-ramp to U.S. Highway 95. The trooper attempted to carefully approach the frightened kitty but they, ultimately, decided that they couldn’t trust Estrada. In an instant, the poor little guy began to flee, sending the trooper to run after them.
It wasn’t easy, but Estrada was able to get a hold of the kitten! As scary as the whole ordeal was for both feline and human, this story has the best ending – the kitten has already found their new furever home! Plus, they’ve been given a new title by the Nevada State Police: Trooper Kitty.
