Travis Kelce Makes Young Kansas City Chiefs Fan’s Day At AFC Championship Game!

A two-photo collage. The first shows Travis Kelce on a football field. He's handing a pair of his yellow gloves to someone in the stands. The second photo shows a close up of a happy little boy. His mouth is agape as he smiles. He looks shocked and is holding onto a pair of Travis Kelce's yellow gloves.

As you probably know, Travis Kelce has a lot of reasons to celebrate these days. Last Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs won against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. Now, they’re on their way to Super Bowl LVIII! Still, even on the most exciting, busy days, Kelce looks for ways to make his fans feel special.

As soon as the game ended on Sunday, the celebrations began. But before Kelce left the field, he sought out a fan to surprise. There were lots of fans to choose from, of course, but Courtney Caton’s son stood out the most. In turn, the NFL star gave this sweet kid his gloves.

The look of pure joy and shock on this kid’s face is priceless! This wholesome moment has gone viral and, in doing so, has prompted folks to compare the moment with one that happens during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

“So are the gloves his version of the 22 hat?” one person asks.

When Swift sings her hit song, 22, a fan from the crowd gets a temporary spot right at the front of the stage. Then, for a brief moment, Swift chats with them as she hands them the hat she’s wearing.

Courtney Caton's son, who is wearing Kansas City Chiefs merch, smiles wide, mouth agape. He's mid-skip on his way back to his seat in the football stadium, Travis Kelce's yellow gloves in his hands.

Considering this isn’t the first time Kelce has gone out of his way to surprise a fan, this comparison is actually super accurate — no wonder these two seem to make a great pair!

“After the game I always try and give a souvenir to a little one,” Kelce said during an episode of his podcast, New Heights, back in November 2023. “That’s always one of the gratifying things after a win is being able to celebrate it with the fans and the kids and everything.”
