One woman is finally reconnecting with her biological sister after both of them grew up in adopted families. Their first meeting was just too sweet! The woman’s daughter filmed the once-in-a-lifetime moment and shared it on TikTok. She says that her mom was able to find her sister through Ancestry.com.
“My mom was adopted and found out she had a full biological sister who was given up for adoption two years before she was, thanks to Ancestry,” wrote the young woman over the footage. “This was their first time meeting.”
In the beautiful video, the two newly reunited siblings hug like they’ve known each other their whole lives. It’s so heartwarming to see the smiles on their face!
“Finding your family is amazing as it is, let alone finding a full sibling when you are adopted,” the daughter added of the sisters’ meeting in her caption.
Commenters thought the resemblance between the two women was just uncanny!
“I got goosebumps they look and act the same,” said one user.
Another added, “Crazy because they share a lot of the same mannerisms.”
We’re so happy these two sisters finally found each other after growing up in separate adopted families! They’ve certainly got a lot of catching up to do.
