Watch This Master Baker Make A Decadent Chocolate Cake… Out Of Legos?

Stop motion animation has been around for over a century, but it remains a time-consuming art form best suited to perfectionists to this day. A YouTuber named Tomosteen is one of them, and their incredible “Lego In Real Life” cake video is going off-the-charts viral with over 48 million views!

The film is all about baking a layer cake… using Lego blocks instead of real ingredients! The animation was created by manipulating objects and figures frame by frame to create the illusion of movement. Tomosteen said they used “many photos” to create the masterpiece and urged people not to try this at home. “I don’t actually cook Legos,” they clarified.

It’s not just the smooth animation that makes this video so mesmerizing; it’s also the perfect sound effects! Every stir, slice, and blend is accompanied by realistic audio that makes the end result feel eerily real. Check out the coolest cake ever in the video below, and be sure to share this story.
