There’s nothing like the pride I feel when well recognized celebrities take down their walls, give us a glimpse into their humanity, and challenge us to do the same. It’s impossible to forget the Carolina Panther’s player Cam Newton and his gesture for a little boy. After scoring a touchdown, Cam handed the football to a little boy that had just lost his dad. The moment was so beautiful.
Yesterday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was taking questions in a Super Bowl Media Day interview when a little boy named Jonathan asked him a very important question. In his little voice, Jonathan asked Brady, “Who’s your hero?”
Brady took a moment to commend Jonathan for his important question… then simply answered, “Well… my dad is my hero. He’s the one that I look up to every day.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Brady became visibly emotional. It’s abundantly clear how much the famous football player loves his dad and a great reminder for the rest of us… no matter how famous, rich or noteable you become your parents set the first example.
