Many little boys can recall a time when they played catch with their dads in the backyard.
But little Noah Baker seems more interested in hitting the ball. At just two years old, he knew he wanted to play professional baseball – and he also knew he had to start practicing early if he wanted to make it to the big leagues. Knowing that his dad was probably not super interested in running after every ball he nailed, he turned to another best friend.

Noah and Brutus have always had a special bond, so it only made sense that he enlisted his pup in playing fetch.
Brutus was always more than willing to chase down Noah’s T-balls. (Dogs are great for so many things, including filling in as waterboys.)

Hoping to capture one of their sweet afternoons playing ball, Noah’s dad filmed him stepping up to bat. The following footage, though, ended up being even more endearing than Dad expected.
Noah confidently swings, then connects with the ball with a solid “clink,”and off Brutus goes… a trail of dust following him like a contrail in the sky!

But Noah’s second at-bat? Not quite as successful, though far more adorable. He swings, he misses!
