Creative Dad & Daughter Use Live Squirrel To Help Pull Baby Tooth.

Do you remember losing all your baby teeth? Neither do I. But the story of how this little girl lost her eighth tooth is one she’ll never forget. And even if she does, her dad filmed the entire thing.

Our setting is a park in Montreal, Canada, with 6-year-old Mila Freiheit in the lead role. Her dad, David Freiheit, a.k.a. Viva Frei, takes a supporting role, while a squirrel — yes, you read that right — serves as assistant to the lead.

“We are doing an absolute Internet first today — we are going to remove a loose tooth,”David says. “We’re going to remove a tooth with a squirrel.â€

He ties a long piece of dental floss to Mila’s wobbly tooth, then attaches a piece of a granola bar to the other end …

The bait’s set a couple feet away, and all they have to do now is wait for the action to roll. When the squirrels come, Dad explains, they’re going to run off with the floss “and take the tooth with it.â€

That’s followed by something inaudible by Mila, who watches out of the corner of her eye as the squirrels start swarming at her feet like a bunch of hungry sharks.

Moments later, one of them hops up on the bench and gets in a few nibbles before taking off with the entire thing. And out pops Mila’s tooth, exactly as planned!

When she showed the tooth and video of the extraction to her friends at school later that day, “they were like, ‘Your dad is crazy … why is the tooth so bloody?’â€

But there’s precedence for this kind of thing: The summer before this extraction, one of Mila’s baby teeth was pulled out by a drone.

The video’s been viewed more than half a million times since it was uploaded in June 2016, and many have commented that unconventional as it seems, it’s a great way for father and daughter to bond and spend some quality time together:
