In the five months since he tragically passed away from stomach cancer, his family, friends, and fans continue to find ways to celebrate and honor him. In fact, a whole list of amazing artists are set to perform some of Keith’s hits at the end of this month. Most recently, though, it was Toby Keith’s own daughter who took a moment on social media to send love to her dad.

There’s no doubt that Krystal Keith misses her dad every single day. But if you’ve ever lost someone you love, you understand that some days are more difficult than others. This includes our loved one’s birthdays. That’s why, when Keith’s July 8th birthday arrived, Krystal shared a sweet message in a post featuring a photo of him. Keith would have turned 63-years-old yesterday. You can find the image below.

“Happy Birthday to our Popster,” Krystal’s birthday message reads. “We miss him like crazy. Playin’ it sweet in heaven today.”

It’s never easy to lose a parent, no matter your age. That said, we hope that all of the loving messages from fans brings Krystal and the rest of her family comfort. In just the above post alone, so many folks took the time to send the late country legend the kindest words.
