Time For A Field Trip! Shelter Takes Pets For Ridiculously Cute Day At The Zoo.

Turns out, even animals enjoy field trips to the zoo!

The Animal Defense League learned this first-hand when they took their foster animals out for a fun day at the San Antonio Zoo. There, several of their cats and dogs had the opportunity to check out some of their distant relatives, including leopards and African wild dogs!

This fun event was set up in an effort to help both the shelter and the zoo raise awareness and money — during the pandemic, they’ve lost revenue and fundraising support. Luckily, though, events like these are great ways to ensure that these non-profits get the help they need to take care of their beloved creatures. Plus, they’re insanely adorable!

Watch the foster animals of Animal Defense League visit the zoo below and don’t forget to share.
