Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced they planned to relocate to the United Kingdom from California. The pair are parents to 7-year-old Prince Archie and 5-year-old Princess Lilibet, who will be attending school this fall. Having children from such a high-profile family at school is a big deal. Parents with Children at School with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Must Follow the Rules
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told Page Six that school officials in the area contacted parents about high-profile families, not naming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle specifically, but the timing is perfect for the big move.
“The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest,” Kinsey said.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will attend private school, though the exact location has not been disclosed.
“It then reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission, or share photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media,” Kinsey added.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have long been very protective of their children and have not posted photos of their faces on social media for years. When they moved to California in 2020, the pair officially stepped back from royal duties to live a more traditional life. Now, it seems Prince Harry wants to be closer to home and his ailing father, King Charles.
The new school year begins soon, and we’re sure Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are ready.
