One big brother is going above and beyond to raise awareness about his sister’s gastroparesis! Because of her medical condition, the little girl has to eat through a feeding tube. Her older brother decided that a health fair was the perfect opportunity to teach others about what his sister was going through. So, he created an interactive display that included a doll with a feeding tube of her own!
Kelsey Ward, the kids’ mom, was floored by her son’s ingenuity and thoughtfulness. According to her video on TikTok, she wasn’t sure how her other children would react to their sibling getting a feeding tube because of her gastroparesis. She couldn’t have predicted one of the girl’s brothers jumping into action to raise awareness!
“Proud is an understatement,” Kelsey wrote in her caption.
Commenters were equally stunned by this awesome brother’s method of raising awareness at the health fair.

It must be great to have an older brother who’s so driven to raise awareness about your condition. This young man is not only incredibly compassionate but pretty darn smart to boot! He might just have a future in medicine.
