For those of us who are less sports-inclined, the Superbowl is still a big day. You know why? Because the Puppy Bowl XX is on the same day!
That’s right. It’s the 20th year of the Puppy Bowl, and these puppies are gathering to melt our hearts. Discovery.Com has posted the final list of pups in the competition and there are some absolutely adorable contenders.
Let’s meet some of the players in the 2024 Puppy Bowl XX!
The Animal Planet organizers are holding a Pupularity Playoff, which has put some of the cutest pups ever head-to-head to determine who is the most “Pup”ular dog in the bowl.
I don’t know how you could vote between these adorable little dudes, but Fred and Linus both put up a good fight.
However, while there are only a few dogs left in the Pupularity Contest, 131 dogs are competing in the actual bowl. I’ve got to say, I’m a bit partial to Cronut. Look at his cute little wrinkles!
Another great Puppy Bowl contender is Gentleman, the corgi wearing a bow tie. I mean, how can you keep from giving that little dude the trophy?
While this major event is notable for its cuteness, it’s also for a good cause. It promotes shelter and foster dog awareness, and each pup in the competition gets adopted by the end of the bowl!
