Fulton Lee, a musician with a powerful message, stood on a curb with a sign that read: “Sit here if you feel like giving up.”
Before long, a woman appeared and took a seat on the stool.
Immediately, she was clearly overwhelmed with emotion. As he started to play his song, “Close to the Edge,” you could tell the music was healing her.
The only way to get through hard feelings is by letting yourself feel them, and Fulton’s song was a beautiful medium for expressing that. At the end of the tune, when he saw she was crying, he raced over to her side.
It was then that the woman shared she’d just lost a few people who are close to her.
Grief is one of the hardest feelings on Earth.
This woman is so brave in sharing her feelings and being willing to let the music into her heart. I don’t know if Fulton expected such a beautiful response when he stood on that corner, but we’re so glad they were able to share that powerful moment.
