But it’s not just on Nashville that Jonathan gets a chance to sing – he’s performed in some other awesome settings. One of the most notable being the Grand Ole Opry – an opportunity every country star prays for.
The venue is known for hosting epic artists such as Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood and Elvis. Being excited for an invitation to perform would be a gross understatement. It’s no question that Jackson took his chance to make his mark on the stage.
His choice of song? None other than Todd Duncan’s “Unchained Melody.” The track, released in 1955, has since become one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century, most notably by the Righteous Brothers. The young star had a lot to live up to, to say the least.
But he completely blew it out of the water.
