Teacher Knits Custom Hats For Every One Of Her Students And They’re Just Perfect!

It’s pretty hard to beat a handmade present! A crafty second-grade teacher named Hannah came up with the best gift idea ever when she decided to knit a one-of-a-kind winter hat for each of her students. What made these items even more special was that every child got to create their own unique design. Hannah showcased the finished products in a heartwarming video on social media.

In her clip, the teacher displayed her students’ designs next to the hats that she knitted for them. She had provided each child with a coloring page of a winter beanie to help them get started. Even though students could only pick between two basic shapes, every kid’s vision was completely different. It’s so cool to see the fun patterns these second graders came up with!

This teacher ended up knitting 19 unique winter hats, one for each student. She couldn’t wait to see the looks on their faces when they received their handmade beanies!

“So excited to show my 2nd graders their gift tomorrow,” Hannah wrote in the caption of her video. “They designed a hat and I tried my best making them come to life!”

It definitely took a lot of effort on Hannah’s part to pull off this innovative gift idea. In a reply to one of her comments, the teacher explained that she’d been working on her students’ hats since Thanksgiving break in order to finish them in time for Christmas!

“I had them design the hat the week before Thanksgiving break,” she wrote. “I got a lot of them done during that break.”

Phew, that sounds like a lot of knitting! We’re sure this teacher’s students will treasure their handmade winter hats for many years to come.
