At only 9 years old, Scarlett’s has a high grade glioma — this is an aggressive brain cancer with no cure, her stepmother Natalie Oliver says. Make-A-Wish gave them a chance to make one of Scarlett’s wishes come true but, unfortunately, meeting Swift didn’t work out. That’s why, when given the chance to go to one of her Eras Tour shows in Australia, the little girl’s family worked hard to get Swift to notice her.
“I just want her to experience everything in life,” Natalie shares in a Facebook group for the show. “and if anyone deserves a little happiness, it’s her. She deserves the world.”
To aide in their mission, Scarlett made a sign politely asking to be chosen. It seems she made it herself, and it couldn’t be more adorable! Clearly, Swift herself agrees, because this sweet kid got chosen!
