Get ready for the mashup you never knew you needed.
On TikTok, the band Ray Bull shares all kinds of musical content, but the videos where they combine two different songs have to be some of their most popular – and for good reason! Using their musical talents, they’re able to create original masterpieces using some of the most unexpected song combos.
One of our favorites has to be “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes beautifully intertwined with “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by Eurythmics. It starts with one of the members of the band playing the melody of “Seven Nation Army,” but when it’s time for the lyrics to come in, we hear “Sweet dreams are made of this… who am I to disagree?”
The song starts as a solo but quickly turns into a duet with lyrics from both songs being sung. That might sound like a lot going on at once but, on the contrary, everything goes together so perfectly that, by the time the song is over, it’s easy to forget that you’re even listening to a mashup!
