When Ximena Fitch gave birth to her baby boy three whole months earlier than expected, she and her family found themselves counting down the days until they could take him home. In the meantime, he had to spend time in the NICU – eight weeks, to be exact.
During that time, the newborn’s grandparents eagerly awaited the day they’d finally get to meet their grandson. Turns out, that day wouldn’t be the one they expected… it’d be a day sooner!
