This heartfelt gift was a decade in the making.

In a TikTok posted by user @laceco303, she shared a highlight from her wedding day. Turns out, her now-husband had been spending a lot of time and money so he could present her with the best gift he could ever give her on their big day: a 1986 5.0 GTO Mustang convertible.

You may be thinking that this bride is a massive Mustang fan, but there’s so much more to this gift than the vehicle itself. When her dad passed away, it was “one of the only tangible items” he had left her. The problem was that it broke 10 years ago and has remained that way ever since.

She had come to terms with the fact that she’d never get to drive it again, making her husband’s reveal all-the-more perfect. In fact, as soon as the gift was revealed, she couldn’t stop crying.

“Somehow, he fixed it, bringing back a piece of my father on our wedding day,” the bride wrote. “Some gifts are thoughtful and some are expensive. This was both. To say I am grateful is an understatement.”

Watch as this bride cries tears of joy over her husband’s thoughtful present in the video below, and don’t forget to share.
