We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty excited about the return of Happy Gilmore. There’s something about a classic Adam Sandler character making a comeback 30 years later that gets us all nostalgic. Well, we aren’t the only ones ready for Happy’s return. Subway is celebrating the new Happy Gilmore 2 with a brand-new meal deal and collectible cups. Subway teased the news on Instagram with a few posts, including a picture of a sandwich on a golf tee and a hockey stick captioned, “it’s been a few years… but we have some unfinished business.”

Fans immediately knew what was coming, and they got excited.

Subway Gave More Details About Their “Happy Gilmore 2” Meal And Another Collectible
According to a release, Subway guests can make any combo or Meal of the Day a Happy Gilmore Meal for $1 more, and they’ll receive one of four new Happy Gilmore 2 collectible cups. Sports illustrator, animator, and director Mickey Duzyj provided the incredible artwork that depicts four Happy Gilmore themes.

- Oscar: Happy’s new caddie in Happy Gilmore 2
“Alongside a generation of fans, Subway can’t wait to see our old friend Happy Gilmore recapture the magic that made him such an enduring cultural icon in Happy Gilmore 2,” Cristina Wells, Senior Vice President of U.S. Marketing at Subway said in a release. “We’re excited to partner with Netflix and give fans more of what makes them happy – more ways to enjoy their favorite subs and more ways to engage with a world that we cherish as much as they do – with a one-of-a-kind, connected experience exclusively at Subway.”
But that’s not all, every Happy Gilmore meal also includes a QR code where fans can enter Subway’s Happy Place and have a chance to play games and win limited edition Happy Gilmore 2 mech and prizes, including:
- Custom golf cart
- Golf locker kit and branded golf gear
- Exclusive golf apparel and leisurewear
- Weekly $3,000 cash prizes, delivered as “Big Ass Checks”
- A grand prize golf resort trip for two
