This summer will be a lot happier, and Adam Sandler fans can’t wait. The new trailer for Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2 dropped, and 30 years later, Happy still gets fans right in the feels. We may have waited three decades for a sequel, but it appears well worth the wait. Happy’s back alongside Shooter McGavin and pro golfers like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka. But that’s not all. A famous game show host also has a cameo. No, it’s not Bob Barker – rest in peace. This time, Happy Gilmore 2 features Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings.

“Jeopardy!” Fans Love Ken Jennings And Can’t Wait To See Him in “Happy Gilmore 2“
Ken Jennings appears ever so briefly in the Happy Gilmore 2 trailer, but eagle-eyed fans caught him and can’t wait to see more. Several people posted about Ken’s cameo in Reddit’s Jeopardy Sub.
“Did anyone catch that glimpse of him in the trailer?! I squealed,” someone wrote.
Fans came in hot with theories.
“It’s just not Happy Gilmore if he doesn’t get beat up by a game show host,” one wrote.
“I saw this and wondered if he would play the Bob Barker role. Love Ken but I don’t see him faring well in a brawl against Happy. But it has to be something related to that storyline, I’m very curious where they go with that,” someone agreed.
But this person had a different idea.
“I think it’s more likely that Ken shows up in his mortal capacities, reading a clue about the resurgent Happy in that events-of-the-movie-are-major-events sorta role that Jeopardy! usually fills in movies. (Even though, since Ken’s saying his name on-camera, I guess Happy still went Triple Stumper? brutal).”
Adam Sandler posted the Happy Gilmore 2 trailer on Instagram, and Ken Jennings or not, fans are ready.
This fan put it perfectly.
“This movie might snap me out of the crippling depression.”
Happy Gilmore 2 will begin streaming on July 25 on Netflix.
