Stunning Sunset Phenomenon Only Happens Once A Year & You Won’t Believe The Beauty!

A gorgeous phenomenon where the sunset lines up with the keyhole in a natural arch.

If you’ve seen one sunset, you’ve seen them all, right? Well, that’s not quite true — especially when we’re talking about the glorious sunset phenomenon that occurs every winter in Big Sur, California! This area is home to the beautiful Pfeiffer Beach, where an archway causes a light show like no other. Once a year, the setting sun lines up perfectly with the keyhole in the natural formation, creating a breathtaking view.

According to SFGate, this stunning sunset phenomenon lasts for just a few minutes each day. Tourists have a few weeks in late December and early January to try and capture photos or videos of the spectacular occurrence. On cloudy days, viewers often go home disappointed.
