Hunter Wark-Pantoja’s high school graduation did not take place on May 4th, but the Force was definitely with him during this important moment.
Like a true Star Wars fan, the 18 year old decided to surprise everyone by bringing not one but two lightsabers with him to the ceremony stage: one for him and the other for his school principal.
As soon as his name was called, the Canadian student walked on the stage, giving his principal, Todd Clerkson, a lightsaber to initiate their impromptu duel. As one would expect, the audience’s reaction to this clever surprise did not disappoint. Thankfully, this epic moment was caught on camera for us to enjoy, too!
According to one of his friends, Joey Aconley, Hunter has always been a hardcore Star Wars fan.
“Every May 4th — a globally-recognized Star Wars Day — he would bring lightsabers to school for battles,” Joey said.
Hunter wanted to make sure he was leaving an everlasting impact in his high school, so we think it’s fair to say: mission accomplished!
Watch Hunter and his principal using the Force in the video below, and don’t forget to share with a Star Wars fan.
