When Olivia Sievers was kind to a stray dog on the streets of Buenos Aires, she never imagined how determined the pup would be to adopt her as his owner. Olivia is a flight attendant for a German airline, and over the course of 6 months she made several dozen trips between her home and Buenos Aries.

As most of us do, she fell into a routine, always staying at the same hotel and keeping a general schedule. It was during one of these South American stays that she met Rubio the stray dog. She was struck with compassion for the forlorn animal and decided to feed him some scraps and give the pup a scratch or two. From that moment on, then Rubio started followed her everywhere.

Over the next six months, any time Olivia stayed in Buenos Aries, Rubio waited at the doors of the hotel until his best friend came out to see him.

At first, Olivia tried to find the sweet pup a home in Buenos Aries, but after the pup escaped and found his way back to her she had a change of heart. In a wonderful turn of events, Olivia decided to rescue Rubio and bring him home to Germany.

The sweet pup is certainly living a wonderful life in his new home. We couldn’t be happier for these two!
