When Dad Sells Car To Keep Family Afloat, Wife Goes Above And Beyond To Get It Back.

When times are tough, it’s important to look beyond ourselves and think of our fellow humans.

Nearly everyone on the planet has been affected by COVID-19 in some way or another. In a recent Facebook video, we meet a family who has been struggling to maintain their little slice of the American dream.

This family of three has been through a lot since the start of the pandemic. Dad lost his job early on, and because he’s an immigrant on a work visa, he isn’t eligible to collect unemployment benefits. With their money running out, he was forced to sell most of their belongings to keep them afloat. One of the biggest items that had to go was their car, a loss that left him devastated.

Luckily, he has some amazing people in his corner! Months later, his wife managed to work a small miracle without ever clueing him in.

In a video, we see that he is blindfolded as he holds up a series of signs. He has no idea the large cards are telling the story of how they lost almost everything, especially his “baby,” the car.

“This car meant so much to me because it was the first step towards our American dream,” one sign said. “I was devastated about losing the car because I felt like I failed my family. This made me feel so broken.”

What he didn’t know was that for the past few months, his wife has been working two and even three extra jobs, hoping to raise enough money to buy back their treasured ride. When she finally had enough, she contacted the person who had purchased their car, but he refused to sell it to her. Instead, he gave them the car for free!

Can you believe this kind stranger stepped up like this? What an amazing thing to do! Now they can keep that hard-earned money to help them get by.

There are so many wonderful people in the world! Watch the video below to meet a few of them, and don’t forget to share this story to touch someone’s heart.
