Ever since Steven Tyler of Aerosmith got clean and sober in the mid-80’s, the eccentric rockstar has made it his business to be a positive force in the world. He’s been spotted all over making the world a little brighter. From dropping in on bruskers in Russia, to belting out a ballad at a gospel church service the guy just likes to make people smile.
Just last month, Tyler ran into his biggest fan Anthony Yorfido, who has Down Syndrome, and gave him backstage passes and a chance to jam on stage in front of thousands! Apparently, Tyler just doesn’t get tired of making people’s day.
In the video below Tyler was walking along the street when he stumbled into a young girl and her family. It was then that he noticed the cane in her hands…
Someone walking with her let her know that her rock’n’roll idol was strolling along the street. After calling out to him, Tyler strode over, hugged the young girl tight and asked her if she wanted to sing with him. She sang the classic song “Stand By Your Man” by Tammy Wynette while Tyler sang along in the coolest -and possibly highest- harmony I’ve ever heard.
