Love is a thing that grows with time. Steve Harvey and Marjorie Bridges, his lovely wife, have been together for the better part of ten years. To commemorate Mother’s Day in 2015, Steve invited his wife on the show for the week to help him honor mothers everywhere.
Marjorie walked on stage to thunderous applause. When things grew quiet Steve looked at his wife with a sincere, somber expression and said, “I have a confession to make. You’re really here so that I can honor you.”

The declaration brought an audible awe and more applause from the audience as Marjorie began to tear up. But the emotional reveal was nothing compared to the tribute that followed.
“From the moment I saw you, when you walked into that comedy club that night, and the first thing I said to you ever was ‘I don’t know who you are, lady. But I’m gonna marry you one day.’â€
