When a girl felt the sting of rejection from her “friends” at school, her stepdad came to the rescue to heal her wounds and remind her that she is loved.
A TikTok influencer named The Backwoods Barbiee took to her profile recently to rightfully brag about the sweet man in her life, who jumped into action when her daughter was dealing with a broken heart because of some mean girls at her school.
As she explained in captions, her daughter and her so-called friends had planned to celebrate Galentine’s Day. So she spent all of her savings on gifts and treats for everyone. When she showed up at school, the other girls were prepared, too. But they intentionally left her out.

Her daughter sulked on the couch when she got home, which broke her mom’s heart. So she told her husband what happened.
Before her husband came home for the evening, he made a stop and came home with arms full of gifts. The moment his stepdaughter saw him coming in, she melted.
“You’re the best dad I could have asked for,” she told him.
The teen’s heart was mended with hugs, flowers, a potted plant, a giant stuffed animal, a box of chocolate hearts, and another bag full of goodies. As she looked at all the goods, she broke down in hysterical tears.
As she continued to cry out her happiness and pain, her stepdad held her tight and didn’t let go. The video cut to a later moment and showed that she spent the rest of the evening with his stepdaughter in his lap, wrapped in a blanket, and sharing her feelings with him.
