Meet 10-year-old twins Darius and Demetrice Gillespie. Growing up singing together, the Gillespie twins have developed a unique, soulful style.
When Ellen found out about the talented twins, she wanted them to come on the show. Their heart and charisma won her over.
And she won them over.
In an interview with Serena Sol Brown, the twins were asked what their favorite part about being on TV was. They said that being on TV is “…a fun experience. You meet a lot of people, a lot of famous people. Especially Ellen, she’s cool.”
In their free time the twins say they do normal things like play sports and video games. They see eye to eye on their favorite singer, Michael Jackson, but when basketball season come around, Demetrice roots for the Lakers, and Darius cheers for the Heat.
