When you truly love someone, spending even a day apart can feel like an eternity. Yet for our military service personnel and their families, loving one another from afar is often a reality. These dedicated soldiers can be deployed for months or even years at a time, so when they return there’s always a reason to celebrate!
Damilare has been deployed overseas for the past 11 months. His wife Elizabeth has kept the home fires burning, going to work each day in the medical field and dreaming of the day they’ll be reunited. Yet when that day finally came, her husband decided not to tell her right away. In fact, he decided to spring the surprise of her life on her while she was at work. Luckily for us, they recorded the whole thing!
In a viral video, we see Damilare lying in a doctor’s office chair, still dressed in his fatigues. Elizabeth thinks she’s just seeing another patient when she walks into the room, but as soon as she sees her husband’s face she has the most adorable meltdown ever!
