Soldier Returning From Overseas Rushes Straight To The Dentist For The Most Wholesome Reason.

Soldier sits in a dental chair, smiling, as he reacts to the surprise he pulled off for his dental-worker wife.

If you hear that someone cried at the dentist, you likely imagine that something upsetting happened. Usually, this would be a safe assumption to make. But Damilare Victor Oyemomi’s visit was anything but ordinary. As a National Guard Sargant, he had been away from his family for 10 months.

As you can imagine, deployment can be particularly difficult for the spouses and family of those in the military, and Damilare’s wife, Lizy, is no different. That’s why, when this solider finally got to come home, he came up with the best surprise for his wife — and it involved going to the dentist.

Instead of just telling Lizy he was back, this clever husband put a sneaky plan into place, all with the help of her co-workers. From Lizy’s perspective, it was time for her to help another patient. In reality, that patient was her husband!

Soldier Has a Surprise for his Wife at the Dentist

In a video capturing the moment, Damilare can be seen laying on a dental chair, eagerly awaiting his wife. Lizy was no doubt quick to notice her “patient” was in uniform — still, it took her a second to realize that the solider in the chair was her husband. But once she did, she quite literally screamed with joy!

I can’t decide which is better: The way Lizy can’t stop screaming and crying with joy or the way Damilare starts grinning from ear to ear over his wife’s heartfelt reaction!

Overwhelmed in the best way, Lizy began to cry, heading toward the door. Here, Damilare went over to her and wrapped her up in a much needed hug. Needless to say, this surprise couldn’t have turned out better!
