You never know when or where you’ll meet the love of your life. For Alex and Sue of the UK, it was on a 1988 show called Blind Date. As luck would have it, they had the chance to retell their story, and give a life update, thanks to Meet Cutes NYC. On their social media accounts, they share videos of random couples being asked various questions, all of which start the same: How did you meet?
Although it’s common for their answers to be heartwarming, Alex and Sue’s love story is especially unique. Not only did they meet on a TV show, but they also had their wedding televised, too. According to Alex, 17.5 million people watched them get married. That was 35 years ago, but the two of them couldn’t be more in love.
“He’s so kind,” Sue said. “And he makes me laugh all the time!”
Seriously, the way they both look at each other is absolutely heartwarming! How incredible it is that they met by chance on a show for blind dates.
