Sherri Shepherd Set to Make Big Comeback on “The View”

It’s been more than a decade since Sherri Shepherd exited her chair on “The View.” Since her departure in 2014, she’s appeared on Broadway, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and had her own talk show, “Sherri.” The view began in 1997 with Barbara Walters leading the pack. For the show’s upcoming 30^th season, ABC reportedly has a lot in store, including Sherri Shepherd’s return. According to Entertainment Weekly, Sherri will join “The View” on September 8, 2026, for “Day of Hot Topics” alongside hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Rosie O’Donnell has discussed a potential return to “The View,” but according to Entertainment Weekly, there is no formal contract in place. USA Today reported that guests for season 30 of “The View” include a diverse lineup of athletes, politicians, actors ,and more.

Fans can’t wait for the new season of “The View.”

“Miss you guys!! I’ve been waiting patiently for your return!!!” A fan shared on Instagram.

“I can not wait ! I know everyone need family time and recharge there mind and hearts but I miss you all. 30 years wow God Bless you all be safe and healthy because we need each other for that hour . See you September 8^th,” another devoted fan wrote.

“30 incredible years and one iconic table. Barbara Walters started it all in 1997, and on Tuesday, Sept. 8, the conversations continue!” The view shared. “See you soon for season 30.”
