Once in a while, we all need to take a break – a time to relax and disconnect from our daily routines. But humans aren’t the only ones that need this… animals do too!
Meatball is living proof.
This Labrador retriever has been living at the Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary since 2019, but his stay hasn’t been all sunshine and roses. According to Stephanie Munro, one of the shelter’s workers, Meatball has had a rough time living at the shelter. For this reason, she decided to take Meatball on a much-needed getaway.
Stephanie took Meatball to a cozy cottage where he got to live his best life. He got to run around, sleep as much as he wanted, and play like a little puppy.
“I got to see a whole other side of him,” Stephanie wrote.
Meatball seemed to have enjoyed his much-needed little getaway and we love to see it! Now, we really hope he finds a loving family that will make him feel like he’s on vacation every day.
