Most fathers will do whatever it takes to keep their kids out of harm’s way. But not Sergey Korolev.
Born in Kazakhstan, the 52-year-old man is a professionally trained circus acrobat. When he had a daughter 15 years ago, we imagine he hoped she’d one day take after her pops. That day came sooner than expected when, at just five, she began training with Dad. Now, 15 years old, Sasha is a seasoned acrobat herself and their recent audition on “America’s Got Talent” is evidence of how incredible they are together.

They take the stage and when they announce that they’re a father-daughter acrobat duo that’s been performing for 10 years, the judges are already intrigued. She’s so young!
Simon gets right to the point asking, “Is this act dangerous?” and they’re quick to confirm that indeed, it is. But there’s no fear despite Sasha being so young!

The acrobats jump right in with a mind-boggling balancing act that had everyone in the crowd (and all the judges) literally cringing and writhing in their seats. Standing toe to toe, Sasha jumps up and Sergey lifts her high into the air. Moments later, she’s balanced on his head, doing mid-air splits. That in itself is impressive, but then Sergey reaches up and gives her a little spin, and suddenly she’s twirling in circles on his head!

But the jaw-dropping stunts have barely begun. In their next stunt, Sasha balances her entire body on Dad’s forehead, using just one arm. Moments later, though, Sergey reaches up and places his hand on her head, and suddenly he’s holding her entire body in one hand!

Most girls her age wouldn’t trust their dads to do a braid right, and here’s Sasha, literally placing her life not in Dad’s hands, but hand. Howie’s so astonished, he looks like he’s about to wet his pants.

What’s more, this isn’t the father-daughter duo’s first go on the talent show. Back in Season 10, when Sasha was just 12, they made it through the first round but were ultimately eliminated. It seems like it was a blessing in disguise, because they used the defeat to hone their skills and come up with a routine that’s even more dazzling!
