Owner Greg Parrott was amazed recently when he saw an impromptu interaction between his cat and aging, blind dog. The video below, uploaded in 2012, resurfaced recently and melted our hearts completely.
We first see Greg’s cat gently nudging his blind friend away from a truck parked in the street. At one point the cat tries to guide the pup to the right of the car, and then towards the sidewalk in the opposite direction… anything to get her out of harms way!
Watch as this adorable pup makes faltering steps forward with her “seeing eye cat” there to guide her home every step of the way. It’s a beautiful act of friendship that we can all learn from.
