When 91-year-old Joe Leifken suffered a major heart attack, he told the cops who rushed to his aid he had one dying wish: to take his wife, Margie, out to Ruth’s Chris– her favorite restaurant– for dinner. “It was pretty cute,” recalled one of the cops.

Thankfully, Joe got the chance to take Margie to that dinner. In fact, he got a second chance at life completely! In a wonderful twist of fate, Joe was resuscitated by the cops. He was dead for 10 minutes, but now is alive and very much in love with his beloved Margie.

Years of loving one another left Joe with a strong heart, and some even say Joe’s desire to stay with his wife kept him alive, even after those terrifying 10 minutes of death.
