Being a role model isn’t something that people always seek out. Instead, their behavior and the way they treat others impress people, who then want to be and act like them. Jackson Olson has been in the spotlight recently for both “Dancing With The Stars” and being a member of the Savannah Bananas. He recently posted a video about an interaction with a fan that brought tears to his eyes. A little boy approached Jackson Olson and asked for an autograph for his sister. It was the boy’s words that changed everything.

Jackson Olson Had No Idea He’d Made Such a Difference
The little boy and his sister got autographs and posed for photos with Jackson Olson. Before walking away, the brother said something that made Jackson cry.
“I just wanna let you know, she’s not a fan of you because of the Bananas or Dancing with the Stars. She’s a fan of you because she gets bullied at school and she watches your videos and they make her feel better and they inspire her,” the boy said.
The interaction touched Jackson’s heart so much that he became overcome with emotion and had to leave the fan meet and greet.
“I’m not a parent yet. I hope One day I am. But when you’re teaching your kids how to be good people,
just make sure that they know how much bullying can affect people,” he added.
Fans loved Jackson Olson’s message.
“Jackson now I’m crying at 7am watching this. You are such a kind and beautiful human. Thank you for always being authentically yourself and spreading such an important message!!! The world needs more Jackson Olsons!!!” A fan wrote.
This fan agreed. “As a teacher this makes my heart so happy!! Kids look up to you guys and so showing them this is just the best,” they wrote.
