Rival Cheer Squads Put Together Special Routine To Honor Teammate Who Lost Her Legs.

After everything Sarah Frei has been through in the last year, nobody would blame her for being angry at the world.

Last summer, the high school cheerleader lost both of her legs when a drunk driver hit the car she was riding in. The accident also paralyzed her from the waist down. But throughout her recovery process, even as she learned to navigate life in a wheelchair, she has never lost her smile – or her incredible support system.

In September, her school friends threw a virtual homecoming in her hospital room. When she was released the following month, her community organized an epic welcome home parade. And to commemorate her last cheer performance before graduation, her teammates (and rivals from several schools!) put together a special routine in her honor. With so many supportive people in her corner, is it any wonder why she’s always “Sarah Strong”?

See her shine front and center in the video below, and share this story to honor her fighting spirit.
