85-Yr-Old Finds Precious Recording Of His Late Mom Singing.

Many of us who have lost a loved one would give anything to hear their voice again. For one man, that wish came true when he stumbled across an old cassette.

The 85-year-old popped the forgotten tape into a cassette player, hit play, and couldn’t believe his ears. It was his mother, who passed away in 2001! He’d found a recording of her singing Frank Crumit’s “Thanks for the Buggy Ride,” an old favorite she used to share with him decades ago.

“It was a chore as he has Parkinson’s but insisted on putting them in as he was so excited to see what was on the tape,” his granddaughter Melanie told Good News Movement. “What a gift.”

See his emotional reaction to the precious recording in the video below, and share this story to help him keep his mom’s memory alive.
