Heartwarming Video Captures Little Girl’s 1st Bike Ride With No Training Wheels.

Do you remember the first time you rode your bike without training wheels? It’s a big deal for kids of a certain age, and a milestone a little girl named Ruby recently hit in a very big way!

Ruby was born with Down syndrome. As a result, her mother, Liz Pachta, runs a nonprofit called Ruby’s Rainbow, which helps adults with Downs achieve their dreams of higher education. In their family, they believe nothing is out of reach, and Ruby proves just how capable she is every day!

In a video, Ruby attempts her first bicycle ride without training wheels to help her stay upright. She starts off a little scared and shaky, begging her dad not to let go of the bike, but once she gets the hang of it, she’s off to the races!

“What? What?!” her dad cries as Ruby rides off like a natural. Once her parents catch up to her and ask how she feels, her response is beautiful enough to bring us to tears: “I’m so proud!”

We’re proud of you, too! Check out her first solo ride in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story.
