Robert Irwin Gives Emotional Speech About Sister Bindi In Honor Of Women’s Health Month

The Irwin family is known for the love and attention they bring to wildlife conservation, but at a recent fundraiser, Robert and Bindi Irwin utilized their platforms for women’s health. Last year, Bindi was diagnosed with endometriosis — but reaching this point took years. Unfortunately, this experience is common. That’s why Bindi is determined advocate for others who are both diagnosed and undiagnosed with endometriosis.

The Blossom Ball, a fundraiser put on by the Endometriosis Foundation of America, was the perfect place to do just that. Here, Bindi received an award for all of the good she has done so far for their cause. In turn, Robert was invited to say some kind words about his incredible sister. “In recognition of Women’s Health Month, I wanted to share how my sister inspired me and so many around the world,” Robert writes. “It was an honour to introduce her alongside my mum to accept her award at the Endo Found Blossom Ball. Through her endometriosis journey, she taught me just how vital it is for us ALL to stand up and support women’s health.”

It’s so heartwarming to see Robert share such kind words about his sister — it’s clear they both admire each other greatly. Plus, it’s always encouraging when a man is happy to speak out about the importance of women’s health.
