While acting sounds like a very fun career, it is no secret that it can also be very demanding.
Oftentimes, actors have to sacrifice time with their family, their favorite dessert (if they have to lose weight for a certain role), or even their hair!
Just take Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr., for example, who recently had to let go of his dark hair for his upcoming role in the series “The Sympathizer.” However, before grabbing the hair clippers and doing it himself, he realized there were two little people that would appreciate getting the job done for him: his precious kids!
In a short but very funny clip, Downey Jr. shows the process of going bald from beginning to end – and even included a little bonus that is absolutely hilarious.
In this video, you can see the actor asking his kids, who are in the process of carving pumpkins, if they can shave his head for him. As one would expect, they say “yes!” and get to work. Once they are done, Downey Jr. asks them “how much do I owe you?” and their response was just… somehow both devious and wholesome.
It turns out they didn’t want money or candy. The kids decided they wanted to transform their dad into a giant, human pumpkin. Yep, that’s right! Robert Downey Jr. turned into a jack-o’-lantern, and it wasn’t for an acting role. It was all for his kids’ amusement!
