Izzie Grass’ TikTok has gone viral for the second time, and with very good reason. It’s adorable!
In 2019, Izzie had just adopted a sick kitten that had been on the euthanasia list at the veterinary clinic where she works in Rochester, New York. She took Ricky the orange kitten home and began to nurse him back to health, but she was overwhelmed with work at the time, so her mother volunteered to cat-sit Ricky for two weeks. Everything went well, and when Izzie picked Ricky up, Ricky’s “Gramma” had a surprise for her!
Izzie told Newsweek that her mother “is known for creating very sentimental gifts,” and she did not disappoint! She presented Izzie with a full storybook featuring Ricky and detailing all of his adventures at Gramma and Grampa’s house. Everything from “helped Gramma do the dishes” to eating pancakes with the family dogs was covered, and it’s flat-out adorable.
The internet thought so too! The TikTok went viral back in 2020, and again when it resurfaced in 2023. Ricky is now 3 years old and has recovered from many of his ailments, and Izzie says the storybook is a wonderful reminder of “how far he has come.”
