Dolly Parton made a guest appearance on “Reba” in 2005. The day that she passed away, a crew member on Reba’s new show, “Happy’s Place,” shared a story with Reba that she’d never heard before.

“The day Dolly died, we were filming ‘Happy’s Place’ that day, and one of our camera operators, Jeff, came over to me and he said, ‘Did you know that when she was doing the Reba show, she had those little Valentine hearts and gave one to every crew member?’” Reba said she had no idea Dolly did that.

Dolly Parton’s Kindness on the “Reba” Set Was Typical Behavior for the Queen of Country Music

Reba said that Dolly’s love was for everyone. She never held back showing kindness and affection.

“She treated everyone equally. No matter what you did on the set, you were treated equally. And everybody admired that and felt so seen, and it was precious.”

Reba added that she emulates her kindness on the set of her new show every day.

“That’s what we do on our show, on ‘Happy’s Place,’ she added. “We all treat each other equally and fair and caring and treat ‘em nice. And that’s what Dolly did.”

There will never be another Dolly Parton, and she made the best of her time on earth. We’re sure that she and Reba will reunite someday and share plenty of laughs and smiles together.
