Reb Lobster Dry January

A new year means a fresh start for many people. They may try a new eating plan or perhaps an exercise regimen. A lot of people take the time after the holidays to refresh their bodies, and they give up alcohol for the first month of the new year. In celebration of “Dry January,” Red Lobster has a few new mocktails on the menu for those wanting to give up the booze, but still have something delicious to drink with their seafood favorites.

Red Lobster Quietly Dropped Dry January on Social Media

Red Lobster introduced the new Dry January drinks in an Instagram post. They let fans know they’re embracing the new year and want everyone to come into Red Lobster and relax.

“Look in the corner if you’re nosy,” the post reads. “Our NEW Tropic Tease mocktail is available for a limited time this Dry January. Enjoy this mix of mango passion fruit, lemonade, pear, and Starry Lemon Lime. Available this January only.”

Red Lobster’s new CEO, Damola Adamolekun, is taking his job very seriously. This is just the most recent in a series of promotions the chain has kicked off since he took charge and pulled the iconic restaurant from bankruptcy. In July 2025, Damola told Good Morning America he’s listening to fans and wants this comeback to be permanent. Fans love him.

“He seems to be a great leader. The proof is in the numbers! I wish him continued success,” someone commented.

“This is one impressive young man! Corporate America can use thousands more just like him,” another person agreed.

Damola seems like family to many.

“I’m smiling like this is my son. Who are his parents? I want to give them a standing ovation!!” Someone wrote.

We love Red Lobster, Damola Adamolekun, and Dry January. It’s all a win in our book.
