James Middleton Rallies Around Man Who Lost His Dog On Air France Flight

“This is so sad,” he wrote in an Instagram story. “As someone who travels regularly, this is my worst nightmare.”

Ramón Alberto Piriz was recently traveling from Argentina to Morocco with his dog, Sombra, on an Air France flight, according to a Change.org petition.

“Due to airline policy regarding weight restrictions, Sombra, whose weight exceeded the cabin limit, was required to be transported in the cargo hold. Tragically, upon arrival in Paris, Ramón Alberto Piriz (owner’s friend) was informed that Sombra was missing,” the petition reads.

It’s unclear where Sombra is, but James wants to help hold the airline accountable.

He tagged Air France, writing, “It’s International Dog Day on Monday,” in reference to the August 26 holiday.

Princess Kate’s Brother Shared An International Dog Day Post

According to People, James has had many dogs, but Ella was the canine who led him to his wife, Alizee. The pair married in 2021 and have a son, Inigo. They also have a house full of dogs.

James told Hello! that “Ella introduced me to Alizée; a few years later, we got married, and another year or so later, Inigo arrived. Ella and Inigo never met but every moment Ella is with us. So if it wasn’t for that moment…I would not have been able to capture this moment.”

The photo shows several perky pooches and Inigo right in the middle. “Happy International Dog Day To celebrate, we got Inigo a dog of his own,” he writes.

A fan wrote, “Hello happy international dog day James I love what you have put on that made me giggle xx.”

“That’s why they call him the leader of the pack vroom vroom,” another comment reads.
