It’s no big secret that Prince Harry is estranged from the rest of the royal family. When he and his wife, Meghan Markle, officially gave up their titles and duties in exchange for a life in California, that meant big changes. Prince Harry and King Charles have met twice since his cancer diagnosis in 2024, but the king has only met his grandchildren once. Prince Harry famously said he did not feel comfortable bringing his son, Prince Archie, and his daughter, Princess Lilibet, to the United Kingdom for their safety. According to People, Prince Harry’s children will accompany him for his upcoming U.K. visit.

This Is the First Time the Children Have Visited Since 2022
Prince Harry no longer has the same level of security he had for most of his life, which has made him hesitant to bring his children for a visit. Perhaps he’s softening knowing about his father’s health and wants his children to spend some time with their grandfather. According to Radar Online, Prince Harry has attempted to contact Prince William ahead of the visit, but the future king reportedly has no interest.
A source told the outlet that Harry would love for his children to meet their cousins during the visit.
“Harry wants to bring the kids to see his family – not just the Windsors, but the Spencers too,” an insider said. “He wants to spend time with the wider family. This has been on the cards for some time. Next year would have been the obvious time, when the Invictus Games take place in Birmingham, but for whatever reason, it is happening this summer.”
It appears that the brothers likely will not reunite.
“William won’t be seeing his brother. I suspect he will make sure he’s miles away when Harry visits to avoid any awkward encounters,” the source said. “Harry has tried to make contact repeatedly, but William won’t take his calls.”
