Ladies, if you’re using your pregnancy as a reason to stop exercising… well, you’re out of excuses.

Valentina Izarra lives in Miami, Florida, where she hosts “Mamas Con Ganas,” a community of “utterly fabulous Latinas” who she hopes to motivate and empower with positive and inspiring content. And we don’t know what’s more inspiring than watching a woman who’s roughly a week away from giving birth hit the dance floor.

That picture up there was taken in April 2017, about two weeks before the performance. And the kind of dancing we’re talking about here isn’t the kind where you follow your partner’s lead and sway along to “Unchained Melody” or some other love ballad. No, we’re talking full-on salsa dancing.
She starts out solo, then her dance partner Slavik Bularga smoothly glides onto the floor through a doorway, and off they go!

“That baby is like, ‘What’s going on out there,'” one viewer joked.
“Well, when you gotta dance, you gotta dance,” wrote another, adding Valentina “outshined her partner.”
You’d never know it by watching them, but you have to figure this is a much more muted performance than normal because, remember, she’s 35 weeks pregnant. But she moves so gracefully, even in those heels, you’d never even know it if it weren’t for her adorably big belly!

How? Just… how?!

Okay, most women aren’t going to go out salsa dancing in the final trimester, much less so close to their due dates, but regular exercise during pregnancy has numerous benefits, including reducing backaches, increasing energy, boosting mood, and helping to tone muscles.
This is truly amazing to watch. It’s definitely a performance you don’t want to miss. You’ll never say, “I can’t” again. Watch these two do their thing in the video below, and share if this made you say, “Wow!”
