It doesn’t matter whether you’re a human or a gorilla: nothing beats a mom’s embrace! Utah’s Hogle Zoo recently shared the cutest footage of a mother gorilla and her daughter sharing an affectionate hug. Zoo staff seem to love Jabali and Georgia, and it’s easy to see why. The two share a priceless connection that’s just too sweet for words!
“Meet the heartwarming mother-daughter duo, Jabali and Georgia, both Western Lowland gorillas,” the zoo shared in a Facebook post. “Their species is considered endangered, largely in part to habitat destruction caused by coltan mining, a mineral found in cell phones.”
Hogle Zoo also shared footage of the mama gorilla embracing her child on TikTok, where commenters are gushing over the adorable pair. Many users are also in awe of how much Georgia has grown in comparison to previous videos.
“Georgia has gotten so big,” one person wrote.
The bond between this mother and child is clearly very special, but lets not forget about animal dads! This beautiful footage shows a baby gorilla meeting his father for the very first time.
